I‘ll Never Know
Release date: Aug 28, 2026
Genre: R&B

Tini Dayaram is starting her music career on a pretty strong note. On Aug. 28, she released her second single, I’ll Never Know, only about a month after her debut, Walk Away.
The production immediately reminds me of Ariana Grande’s Positions — that softer R&B-pop sound with smooth drums, layered vocals and a lot of space around the voice. And I actually think I’ll Never Know serves Tini better than Walk Away. Her voice gets to stay soft here, but she still has this firmness in her tone that stops the vocal from becoming too airy or disappearing behind the production. That contrast is probably the thing I like most about her voice so far.
I read the song as being somewhere in the aftermath of a relationship, that annoying part where something has ended and there are still questions you’re simply never going to get answers to. It’s not trying to turn that into some giant, devastating breakup statement, though. I’ll Never Know is pretty straightforward, and honestly, it doesn’t need to be that deep. The production is good, Tini sounds good, and for a second single, it gives me a much clearer idea of what she can actually do as a vocalist.
