I Don’t Care at All

Release date: Jul 24, 2026

Genre: Folk / Americana

Label: Independent

“I Don’t Care at All” starts as this very intimate folk song, with Chad Flores’ guitar giving the whole track so much movement. The tremolo adds a soft shake underneath everything, while the melodic guitar lines keep answering the vocal instead of just sitting behind it. It makes the arrangement sound delicate and alive, even before the song reaches its biggest moments.

Then the female harmony comes in, and wow. Remi Flores adds so much power to the song without taking away from how raw it is. Her voice blends beautifully with Chad’s at first, then opens into this huge upper range that gagged me, fully gagged me. The harmony does more than make the chorus sound fuller and it completely raises the emotional level of the track.

The song was recorded in a shed on the Oregon coast after Chad first came up with the melody during a long drive and spent 45 minutes humming it into his phone. That homemade beginning fits the finished track perfectly. The guitars remain detailed and carefully arranged, the vocals sound completely present, and the harmonies turn a small folk recording into something genuinely massive.
