The Remedy is an emerging band based in Los Angeles. Their new single “Too Late” starts off laid-back, riding on a calm and steady harmonic rhythm. Then the kick-ass drum beat comes in and suddenly, everything rises to heaven.

The lyrics know the relationship is already past the point of saving. The other person kept changing, the connection is fading, and all that is left is the realization that it is simply “too late for you and me.” Still, the song never gets stuck in its sadness. The production keeps growing around it, especially when the guitar solo takes over near the end. Add that string sample underneath, and the whole thing becomes huge.

A sick guitar solo, dramatic strings and drums that completely change the temperature of the song. The Remedy knew exactly what they were doing here.
