The song opens with a simple guitar accompaniment. Echo sings almost as if she is telling a story, and her detailed breath control makes the hesitation in the lyrics feel present. During the chorus, layers of keys enter, giving the track a more contemporary R&B feel. The atmosphere stays relaxed and intimate, but the uncertainty never fully disappears until the song seems to stop on a conclusion: maybe 爱(love).

During the interlude, the song interpolates “Por una Cabeza,” bringing in a more openly romantic touch. The strings, performed by the International Master Philharmonic Orchestra (国际首席爱乐乐团), add extra warmth. After another pre-chorus and chorus, the song keeps returning to the same question: “Could this not be love?
