Release date: August 14, 2026
Genre: Latin R&B
Label: Independent
LOCO POCO was released on August 14, 2026. LINION and MUSA co-wrote, co-composed, and co-produced the track. MUSA is an Argentine artist based in Taiwan whose work moves between Latin music, jazz, and R&B. Here, LINION’s Neo-Soul and R&B groove naturally meets MUSA’s Latin influences and the familiar local cha-cha rhythm. MUSA described the song as “Música pa’l cuerpo” — music for the body.
The song captures the feeling of losing control after an instant attraction. You pass someone attractive on the street, and a look, a smell, or even a tiny gesture suddenly throws off your concentration. Everything feels slightly dizzy and flirtatious, like your body is already reacting before you fully understand what is happening.
The lyrics move between Spanish, English, Mandarin, and Hokkien. Beyond the story of sudden attraction, LINION wrote the song hoping to create something that could simply bring people joy and make them dance. It begins with Loco por ti — crazy for you, then gradually opens outward into Estamos todos — we’re all here, and finally Así— keep it going. One particularly important phrase is 攏是你, meaning “it’s all because of you.” By the final Spanish spoken section, the message explains that put down your phone, look each other in the eyes, and dance.
Musically, the song opens with Latin-style piano and a relaxed vocal, immediately creating a warm and easygoing atmosphere. To me, it feels like walking through a small Latin town, temporarily escaping the turbulence of the city and simply wandering around without thinking too much. Electronic drums are layered with Latin percussion, giving the track a loose but persistent groove that makes it naturally danceable. The whole production follows the idea that before you have time to think about it, your body already wants to move.
