Sophia Stel released her new song “Now I’ve Got A Lot You Know,” which she wrote and produced herself. The track arrived via A24 Music.

These past six months have been important. Her world has grown much larger: more cities, bigger crowds, A24, opening for Lorde, and stepping into fashion. The title sounds ambitious, but the music video brings everything back down to something much more personal. She shows the places she lives in, fragments from traveling, backstage moments, and ordinary pieces of everyday life.

Stel edited the whole music video herself. The digicam footage, home-video textures, and nighttime street scenes make everything feel extremely intimate. Most of it is simply footage from the previous few months of her actual life.

The meaning of “a lot” is also interesting. The song never really defines abundance through fame or money. It can also mean having a lot of love, memories, and human connection. Stel has talked about using ordinary details around her as material for songwriting, so staying present in real life feels important to the way she creates.

Musically, the track begins with soft synth layers and Auto-Tuned vocals. The huge reverb gives the vocal a strange sense of distance, but it still feels raw and simple, almost like a live recording floating inside a much bigger space. The lyrics repeat again and again, keeping the first half almost hypnotic.

Then the energy suddenly peaks in the middle. An electronic, hip-hop-based beat enters, while bright plucks give the track a completely different feeling. The lyrics are still repeating the same idea, but now they sound more confident.
