On Jun. 24, 2026, LP came back with Love Is All I Have, a warm, vintage-summer single that reminds you why their voice always feels bigger than the room.
Co-written with Mike Del Rio, the song looks back at a breakup with all the confusing feelings still attached: heartbreak, regret, freedom, and that weird moment when you know you’re growing but still kind of hate how you got there. It doesn’t sound like LP is trying to make the breakup clean or inspirational. It’s more like, yep, this hurts, but I’m still here, and maybe love is still the only thing worth keeping.
The best part is obviously LP’s vocal. It starts smooth and almost tender, then suddenly opens up in that classic LP way. It is sharp, emotional, and kind of fearless. The production keeps things warm and slightly nostalgic, but the vocal is never eaten up by it. Everything is really there to hold the voice up.
Love Is All I Have also serves as the first single from LP’s upcoming album Room 12, arriving Sept. 2, 2026. It’s not trying too hard to be a comeback statement, but that might be why it works. LP gives me a perfect reason to have hope again.
