NGHTMRE and Flux Pavilion turned Can’t Stop into a brand-new DnB version.
“Can’t Stop Me Now (feat. Flux Pavilion)” was officially released on September 25, 2026. Everyone knows the original track is by Red Hot Chili Peppers, “Can’t Stop”. NGHTMRE described RHCP as his all-time fav band. He first built the guitar riff from this song as a DJ tool, but now it’s an official record version, and he got the license from the band.
The way they bring these different genres together really inspires me. The remix feels surprisingly complete and still stays true to the original’s character: early-2000s alternative funk rock and early-2010s dubstep, rebuilt through the language of 2020s drum & bass, drumstep.
From the intro, the iconic guitar riff repeats several times before the “I can’t stop” vocal comes in, gradually building toward the first drop. The drums sound strong and clean, matching the aggression of the original rock riff and giving the track a sharp, forceful energy.
The repeated “You can’t stop me now” creates an almost cyberpunk atmosphere, like a voice from the future. After the second pre-chorus, the second drop hits even harder. It feels more unrestrained and blown-out, with more layers coming in and the production opening up completely.
The track ends almost immediately after the final drop, without much of an outro. The way they produced the ending makes the energy feel unresolved and leaves you wanting to play the whole song again.
